Our Initiatives
Community Service
NPA DFW is proud of our patient outreach within our local communities. We collaborate with different organizations such as the Nigerian Nurses Association as well as the Association of Nigerian Physicians in the Americas (ANPA) to help educate our local communities on current healthcare topics. We offer free blood pressure screenings, cholesterol screenings and diabetes screenings along with free healthcare consultation on medication therapy.
Precepting and Mentorship
To further the advancement of our profession, NPA DFW is an organization that provides precepting and mentorship to current pharmacy students as well as foreign graduates. With many of our members being in vast aspects of pharmacy.
Professional Networking
NPA DFW generally meets every second Sunday of every month. Meetings are open to members, aspiring members and guests.
NPA DFW is an organization striving to provide networking opportunities for our healthcare professionals through the conduction of social events. Our annual summer picnic and end of the year christmas banquets are ways the organization fosters professional socializing and promotes organizational involvement.
